Information and Communication Technology for Experts of the Future

The MSc in Business Information Systems (BIS) programme is now enhanced by our ColLab – Collaborative Learning Lab. This state-of-the-art technology-enhanced learning facility is situated in the Moore Annex.

The ColLab offers high resolution plasma displays, document and video cameras, DVD recorders, SmartBoard, tablet and other interactive surfaces, as well as super-quality video-conferencing with recording and archiving capabilities.

Designed to support teamwork, the ColLab will enable our BIS students to actively engage in joint projects with colleagues both on and off-campus. Using this technology, students can share documents and archives,  prepare team project reports and arrange ad hoc meetings in the virtual project space. This will give them a unique opportunity to learn how to use these tools and work on real-life solutions with our external partners from industry and public sector organisations.
